Beaches
Crayfish Bay

Short walk from the carpark to Seal Point and the beautiful Crayfish Bay. Great spot for swimming and snorkelling and the walk down here is beautiful.

Blanket Bay

Protected beach with plenty of rockpools. The currents here can be very strong. You can camp here. Sites are $20.

Johanna Beach and Cliff Walk

One of the most beautiful beaches in the country. The beach is broken up into 3 or 4 sections. The beach is great for surfing, swimming and getting some sun. It is generally quiet because the road is unsealed. At low tide you can walk east from the carpark along the beach to Rotten Point or west to Cannonballs. Make sure you know what the tide is doing. Wreck Beach

Wild and secluded beach with a couple of shipwrecks here. Dangerous place to swim. It can be dangerous to walk along the headland at high tide.

Maits Rest

Great short walk through the rainforest. Some huge trees here.

Cape Otway Lighthouse

Beautiful spot for photos etc. There is a tour for $20 where you can climb the tower.

The Gables

Easy walk from the carpark here to one of the most spectacular lookouts on the Great Ocean Rd.
