Warrnambool Beach

Waves to suit swimmers and surfers. As well as a pier that is good for fishing.

Attractions
Logans Beach Viewing Platform

Expansive view of ocean. Good spot to view whales between June and October. Logans Beach is a Southern Right Whale nursery. Walk down to the beach here.

Griffiths Island

Nice lookout spot and walking track through this island/peninsula. You will find a few secluded beaches and a lighthouse plus lots of wildlife. At dusk you can watch colonies of seabirds returning to their nests.

Thunder Point

An easy but breathtaking walk along a clifftop boardwalk. Lots of great views and a good spot to swim along the way.

Hopkins Falls

Beautiful waterfall especially in the winter. Also a good rest area with BBQs and toilets.

Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve

Wildlife Park in a dormant volcanic crater. Lots of wildlife here. Look out for emus stealing your food at the BBQ. Also a lot of wombats here. Good place to have a BBQ and you can stay the night in your vehicle.

Worn Gundidj Bush Walk

Learn about wildlife, plant species and bush food. Learn about indigenous history and practices and master the art of the boomerang.
