Between August and November this is the best place to see Humpback whales. Rather than just passing through, whales stay here longer to feed, rest and play. It is actually possible here to jump in and swim with the humpback whales.

ESA Park

There is a little turtle rookery at this park and it is a good BBQ spot.

Barnacles Dolphin Centre

You can feed the resident dolphins here for a $10 fee. Arrive at 7am or earlier as it can be busy. There is a decent cafe.

Toogoom MTB Park

Over 40km of trails at this great park. Nice beach at Toogoom to cool off at afterwards.

Really nice place. Has a spa pool, pool, BBQ etc. Nice breakfast here for $6.
