Bushrangers Bay

This quiet beach and marine reserve is an incredible spot for snorkelling and swimming. Nearby Maloneys Bay is even quieter and it is possible to camp on the beach here.

Killalea State Park

Has two of the better surf beaches in the area. The Farm is one of the best beginner waves in the country. Mystics is a beautiful beach with pretty good surf. It is a great though heavily patrolled camping spot $39 for a site. There is a cafe here and BBQs. You will not see the appeal of the spot until you get there. Jump Rock Swimming Hole

There is a small carpark on the southern side of the highway right at the end of the park on the Wollongong side. Take the trail from the carpark and turn right at the first fork. The trail is fairly visible and once you reach the river there are plenty of swimming spots all along the way. There can be leeches. You will need to rock hop over the river here. Cascades Walk

Parking is across the road from Jump Rock carpark. Easy 1 hour walk along a creek to the waterfalls. Lots of wildlife. Look out for Lyre Birds.
