Jervis Bay

A very busy town during peak season. Some cafes, shops where you can rent kayaks, masks & snorkels and bicycles and a good pub.

Huskisson Beach

Nice beach in the town and a huge ocean pool which is good for doing laps. Good for snorkelling and swimming.

Hyams Beach

Long beach to the south of Huskisson with very white sand. Gets busy on weekends. Worth a look as it is a very pretty beach. Snorkelling is good here.

Greenfields Beach

In Vincentia. This is one of the most spectacular spots in Jervis Bay. White sand, clear water and abundant marine life on offer. Usually quieter than other beaches in the area it is excellent for snorkelling.

The Huskisson Hotel

The Husky is a really good time when it is busy. They often have live bands.

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling

The ocean around Jervis Bay is a protected marine reserve and there are lots of fish here as well as Dolphins, Grey Nurse Sharks and Rays. It is easy to get a mask and snorkel in town. Visibility is good. There are a couple of dive operators based here.

Dive Jervis Bay

Good dive operator. They have accommodation for $66 a night.

Dolphin and Whale Watching

Jervis Bay is a great place to swim with dolphins. You are very likely to see them here. It is also one of the best places to take a Whale Watching tour in season between May and November and has a large offshore Fur Seal colony.
