Caves Beach

This beach has everything. A beautiful white sand beach with clear water, good surf and plenty of space to work on your tan. On the south end of the beach there are some interesting caves. This is also a good camp site with great facilities. There is a party atmosphere at the campground on busy weekends. A lot of tame kangaroos around the campsite. You need to book in advance. Prices are around ..

Narrawallee Beach

Special spot where you can swim, surf, fish and walk the beach and headlands.

Bherwerre Beach

Long and gorgeous beach away from all the crowds. On the western side of the Caves Beach camp area follow the trail that leads around Ryans Swamp to Bherwerre Beach. Ryans Swamp attracts many waterbirds such as swamp hens, egrets and ducks. It is also home to numerous frogs and snakes and turtles.

Murrays Beach

30 minute walk to this beautiful beach. There is a little penguin colony on the island off the beach. This tranquil beach is a fantastic spot to come and watch the sunrise. Directly behind the beach there is a track to the Governor Head lookout.

Green Patch - Iluka Beach

Calm beach with BBQs and showers. Some short walks around here. You can see wallabies, lorikeets, parrot & echidnas.

Bristol Point

A 10 minute walk from Green Patch Beach. Easiest to get here at low tide. Nice camping spot nearby.

Steamers Beach

A challenging walk with some of the park's most rewarding scenery. Beautiful beach but not for swimming as there are strong tows and lots of sharks around. Follow the headland walking trail west for some good swimming beaches like Kittys Beach or Whiting Beach.

Hole in the Wall Beach

Beautiful beach that is popular for photography.

Summercloud Bay - Aussie Pipe

From the bottom end of the car park follow the track for 15 mins. You will come out in front of the wave. There are a lot of breakins at this carpark. Big barrels when there are south swells and northeast seabreezes at mid tide. Only for experienced surfers. Respect the wave and the locals.

Attractions
Botanic Gardens

A pleasant if unspectacular botanic garden here worth wandering through. It has some BBQs and nice spots to eat.
