This is a popular place for learning to surf as there are so many good beginner waves here. Lots of beaches in the area. For surfers the best beaches are Denhams Beach, Surf Beach, Malua Bay & McKenzies Beach. Malua Bay and Surf beach are patrolled.

Beaches
Circuit Beach

A small, private, secluded beach. Park at the end of Denise Dr in Lilli Pilli.

Lilli Pilli Beach

Small beach and quieter than others around here. The southern end has barbecues, toilets, picnic tables and lots of parking. Several small pebbly beaches if you walk around the southern end.

Guerilla Bay

Is one of the most picturesque beaches in the area. Rock formations surround a calm beach with good swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. The Banksia Walk, a short walk to Burrewarra Point, starts here.

Nightlife
Bayview Hotel

The only pub in town. You can stay here for relatively cheap. About $70. Decent food.

The Corn Trail

You can park on River Forest Rd off the Kings Highway about 30 mins out of Batemans Bay. Beautiful walk through Monga National Park. Follows a trail that has been used for hundreds of years. The walk is six hours one way so you might have to turn around after a few hours.

Decent Fish and chips.

The Oyster Shed

Nice spot on the river where you can buy oysters direct from the farm. Fresh and delicious. Great spot to chill out along the river.
