Camel Rock Beach

Nice surf beach with a couple of interesting rock features. You can get to Camel Rock and Horse Head Rock by scrambling around the headland. Follow the walking trail along the northern headland for amazing views and secluded beaches. Carpark is very shady. Good for overnight parking.

Nelson Beach

Magical place and the perfect spot to relax. Good spot for photos and lots of wildlife. Great surf break. Also a good place to fish.

Kianinny Bay

Beautiful lookout here (Chamberlain Lookout). Relax and have a BBQ. Jump into the water off the jetty or the rocks. Good place to fish.

Camel Rock Brewery

Nice spot for a drink inside the caravan park.

Attractions
Gulaga - Mt Dromedary

Start by the shop where you can pick up supplies for this steep and difficult walk which will take around 5 hours. Great views from the summit and many granite tors that are significant to the local Aboriginal people.

Mumbulla Falls

Small waterfall with a natural rock slide into a deep swimming holes.

Bermagui Blue Pools

Follow the steps down to these nice man made pools hacked into the coastline. Good spot for snorkelling.

Mimosa Rocks National Park

Beautiful views at this coastal National Park. There are great picnic areas to stop for a break. This is a good place for whale watching in winter.

Nelson Lagoon

A short walk to this lagoon. Good for birdwatching, kayaking and fishing.

Wajurda Point

Best place for sunrise or sunset. Looks magnificent backed by the early morning sky. Moon Bay is a good spot for a swim too. You can also park on Bay Dr off Tathra Bermagui Rd and walk about 30 mins to moon bay stopping at the headland.

Kangarutha Walking Trail

3 hour each way walk. This can be a tough walk but there are plenty of isolated beaches to take a dip in along the way.

Bega Cheese Heritage Centre

Stop in for a coffee and a cheese toastie.

Fat Tonys

Great Steak and oysters. Not particularly cheap.

Accommodation
Picnic Point Campground

Great views. Good spot for swimming & fishing.

Gillards Campground

Big campground. Can be busy. Good facilities right by the beach.
